Can I reserve/pre-order my tree for Christmas 2025?
In order to keep it fair for everyone, all trees are sold on a first come, first served basis.
When will the Christmas trees be available to purchase in store?
Chrsitmas trees will be available for purchase starting the Friday before Thanksgiving. Stay tuned on our social media for any updates!
I want to get my tree early this year. Will it last until Christmas?
Unfortunately, there is no guarantee that your Christmas tree will last until Christmas. After all, it is a live “cut” tree! Good news, Thanksgiving is one week later this year, which means a shorter holiday season for your tree. We advise you to keep your tree outside in the shade (untied) for as long as possible, keep the water bowl full, and spray it down with a hose to preserve moisture. Once inside, please do not place your tree by air vents. These steps will increase the longevity of your tree, especially if you purchase it early in the holiday season. This also applies to wreaths and garlands! If you must keep your tree inside, make sure the tree always has a full bowl of water (unless it is a flocked tree).
What types of trees do you carry?
We usually get Fraser Fir, Noble Fir, Nordman Firs (aka Asian Firs), and Concolors.
How much are your Christmas trees?
Trees are priced based on size, variety, and most importantly, beauty. This means that the most beautiful, full, and symmetrical trees will be priced more expensively than than their less attractive neighbors, even if their neighbors are the same height and variety! However, we think ALL of our trees are always the prettiest in the greater New Orleans area, as we go all over the country to hand select them in person.
How long can you hold my tree before I can have it delivered?
Deliveries will be scheduled at time of purchase at the register. We will deliver your tree with a couple days of purchase, based on availability at that time. We are not able to hold trees for future delivery dates.
How long can you hold my tree before I can pick it up?
We have a strict 3 day hold policy after you purchase a tree for pickup. If your tree is left for longer than 3 days, Perino’s has the right to put the tree back out for purchase and refund the customer at their discretion.
Do you sell Christmas tree stands?
Rather than selling stands individually from the trees, we have already affixed a custom stand to each unique tree at no additional cost to you!
Can you light my tree for me?
We do not offer pre-lit Christmas trees, however, we do sell a variety of clear and multicolored string lights so you can deck the halls!
Can I have a fresh cut on my tree?
Our trees are all given a fresh cut when they are placed on their custom stands and immediately submerged in water. They do not need an additional “fresh cut”.
Do you deliver?
Perino’s delivers Christmas trees to the following zip codes. Please note that we are unable to deliver wreaths, garland, and poinsettias during the holiday season, as they are likely to get damaged on the truck carrying large trees! Learn more about Christmas Tree delivery here.
